Fort Worden is a state park whose hospitality components were recently turned over to a newly-formed public development authority. Fort Worden is home to 15 partner organizations, including museums, two colleges, and arts and cultural program developers. Frause developed a strategic communications plan, brand positioning, a custom visual identity and a responsive website showcasing the beautiful grounds.
REI, a globally beloved co-op brand, celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2013. The company wanted to create a visually engaging tribute to the many significant milestones they have accomplished. From its founding in 1938 to CEO Sally Jewel being named Secretary of the Interior, the dynamic site features interesting facts, photos and videos from its rich history. Frause designed and built the site, which incorporates both scrolling and touchscreen technology to guide users through the decades.
Rainier Beer partnered with Frause to publicize the restoration of the Rainier “R” to the top of the Old Rainier Brewery building in Seattle. Through strategic media and social media outreach, the campaign resulted in 74 print and online feature pieces, more than 200 TV hits and hundreds of Twitter and Instagram posts. Frause also worked with Rainier and Foreign American Pictures to produce a video that was shown at the restoration celebration.
Frause designed and developed a set of digital products that reflects the university’s forward-thinking brand and showcases the beauty and diversity of the campus. The result is a set of unique marketing tools custom designed to set the University of Maryland apart in the higher education space. The website was among the elite nominees for an international Webby award in the School/University category.
