Skanska USA Building
Advertising / Direct Mail
Swedish-based construction giant Skanska USA Building retained Frause to increase awareness of the company’s brand, capabilities and projects. It was especially important that key message delivery cut through the clutter from other construction companies to reach target audiences.
Solution
Frause provided Skanska with a multi-year regional and national advertising and direct marketing campaign designed to grab attention and increase market identity. The campaign, themed Skanska Lets You, gave readers a creative look inside selected Skanska projects. Additionally, Frause provided Skanska’s three West Coast offices (Seattle, Portland and Oakland) with a variety of communications services designed to support the company’s overall brand image as well as business development and marketing initiatives. Specific services included media relations, crisis communications, media training, direct marketing, event planning, corporate citizenship and advertising.
Outcomes/Results
For more than four years, whether supporting corporate image awareness, business development activities, crisis communications needs or corporate citizenship initiatives, the Frause team has secured consistent and accurate coverage of Skanska in local business and construction media in all three West Coast markets. In Seattle the direct mail campaign built solid local brand awareness for Skanska. Additionally, the campaign has been recognized by more than 12 national creative organizations as one of the best campaigns in the U.S. during those years. The Skanska Lets You effort was selected as the best national direct mail campaign in 2005 by the Society for Marketing Professionals.
